Kepulau Letti terletak antara Pulau Wetar di barat dan Kepulauan tanimbar di timur, kepulauan ini terdiri atas 3 pulau yaitu Leti, Moa dan Lakor, lokasi ini bisa di capai dari kota Serwaru yang merupakan kota Kecamatan Serwaru yang berjarak kl.33 km menelusuri pantai ke arah barat. Tipe habitat dominan yang terdapat di kepulaun ini berdasarkan jumlah bulan kering dan curah hujan tahunan adalah Moist decidiuous forest dan dry decidiuous forest. Secara geologi kepulauan Leti terbentuk dari karang dan batu karang yang terangkat rendah pada daerah yang kering, di bagian dalam pulau terdiri atas punggung bukit karstik yang curam pada daerah yang kering. Topografinya landai sampai bergunung rendah dengan kemiringan lereng antara < 2 - 61 %. Saat ini tercatat ada 6 desa di Pulau Moa yang semuanya tersebar pada daerah pesisir, sekitar 95 % masyarakatnya bermata pencaharian sebagai petani peladang dan merangkap sebagai nelayan dan ada juga yang beternak, sisanya sebagai pedagang kecil dan mengusahankan jasa transportasi serta jasa pertukangan, jenis tanaman komuditi utama untuk di jual adalah kelapa, jambu mete, kapuk dan sedikit kopi. di bagian selatan dari lokasi ini merupakan areal perladangan penduduk yang ditanami dengan tanaman umur pendek maupun umur panjang, sedangkan bagian dalamnya merupakan areal yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat setempat untuk berburu babi hutan dan satwa lainnya serta meramu. Musaim penghujannya terjadi pada bulan Desember sampai bulan Juni.
